Behind the series: Prayers for the Next President

If given the chance, how would you encourage the next president of the United States in their leadership? What are the qualities you would want them to embody in their role? As we head into an election, we want to take the Scriptures seriously and pray for the leadership of our country, no matter how easy or challenging that may feel (1 Tim. 2:-4). Though not a leadership book in and of itself, the Bible speaks and guides us toward the character traits required for effective leadership. In this series, we will take a deeper look into the lives of multiple people in the Bible who modeled four specific traits of effective leadership: humility, integrity, courageous peace, and servant leadership. While we pray for these traits to show up in the next leader of our country, we also want them to permeate our posture and presence in this political season.
