Bethlehem—small, overlooked, ordinary. Yet it’s where God chose to break into history. In this Advent message, Pastor Josh invites us to “journey to Bethlehem,” the House of Bread, where God feeds us with comfort, redemption, calling, and hope. From Genesis to Micah, Bethlehem shows us that God uses little places and ordinary people to serve a big plate of grace. 🍞 A four-course meal from Bethlehem: 1️⃣ Bread of Comfort, Peace, & Perspective – God meets you in your sorrow (Genesis 35:16–20). 2️⃣ Bread of Provision, Redemption, & Acceptance – God fills the empty and restores the broken (Ruth 1). 3️⃣ Bread of Anointing, Calling, & Power – God anoints the unlikely for His purposes (1 Samuel 16). 4️⃣ Bread of Hope, Promise, & Future – God fulfills His promises through Christ, born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2–4). Even the smallest places can hold the biggest promises—because God delights in working through the humble to feed the hungry with hope. 📖 Scriptures: Genesis 35:16–20; Ruth 1:6–22; 1 Samuel 16:1–13; Micah 5:2–4 🗓️ Preached at Northland Church | Advent Week 1, 2025 🎙️ Series: Advent at Northland 🙌 Like • 🔔 Subscribe • 💬 What “little place” is God using in your life to do something big? 🏷️ Hashtags #journeytobethlehem #advent2025 #northlandchurch #houseofbread #bethlehempromise #jesusourhope #christmasfaith #godwithus #adventseries #littleplacebigpromise
