The Christmas story is filled with wonder, but it is also filled with real people who struggled to believe what God was doing around them. In Luke 1 we meet Zechariah and Elizabeth, a faithful couple who had no idea how their long season of waiting would become part of God’s plan to bring the Savior into the world. Zechariah wrestled with doubt when an angel announced that their prayers would be answered and that their child would prepare the way for Jesus.
