In week 2 of our No Sense series, we're starting from Genesis 15:2-6. In this passage, we see how Abram's faith allowed him to believe God before seeing His promise. Pastor Ken Claytor teaches us the components of biblical faith and urges us to "Believe It to See It". In Genesis 15:2-6, Abraham was counted righteous because he believed God. Abraham didn’t see the promise immediately, but his faith became the foundation of everything that followed. In the same way, our faith grows when we learn to trust God’s character and promises. It is not wishful thinking, but bold trust in the One who never fails.     •    Three components of faith: believing, speaking, and acting. Without all three, we cannot walk in true Bible faith. (James 4:8, 1 Corinthians 14:1)     •    Words matter. Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Does what you speak align with what you say you believe?     •    Belief is not passive—it’s active trust. The Greek word pistuo reminds us that belief is heart-level trust in God’s character, expressed through words and actions.     •    Spiritual growth and science agree. Neuroplasticity shows that neurons that fire together wire together. The more we meditate on God’s Word, the more our hearts and minds are rewired to believe Him.     •    Social influence shapes belief. Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Surround yourself with faith-filled people who speak life and encourage your walk with Christ.     •    Faith is a lifetime, not a season. Luke 8:13 reminds us to keep believing, even in valleys, even in trials, and even when prayers don’t seem to be answered right away. Living Out Your Faith:     •    Trust God in the unseen. 2 Corinthians 4 teaches us that what is unseen is more real than what we see.
