In part 2 of our Miracle Season series, Pastor Ken begins in John 14:12 and unpacks the truth that authentic miracles always point people back to Jesus. Too many believers neglect being clothed in the power of the Holy Spirit. Just as Jesus instructed His disciples in Luke 24:29, we too must wait and be clothed with power from on high before we go out to heal the sick, cast out demons, and proclaim the Kingdom of God. This message invites believers to move beyond religion and into relationship—to embrace the Holy Spirit as God the Spirit, co-equal, co-eternal, and co-powerful with the Father and the Son. We don’t serve three gods, but one God in three persons acting in perfect unity. As 1 John 5:7 declares, the Spirit bears witness in heaven along with the Father and the Word. The Holy Spirit is not an “it.” He’s not just a dove or a symbol. He is the God in the room—our Helper, Counselor, Comforter, Teacher, and Encourager. When you hear that quiet voice saying, “Something told me…” it’s not coincidence—it’s the Holy Spirit speaking. He makes life vibrant, joyful, and fills it with purpose. He convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment, gives us new birth, distributes spiritual gifts for the common good, and empowers us to live out the Gospel with boldness. Many have misunderstood the Holy Spirit because of past abuses, false prophecies, and manipulation. Some churches have leaned into suspicion or even cessationism, denying the Spirit’s power altogether. But as 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 warns us: Do not quench the Spirit. God never intended His Church to choose between sound teaching and supernatural power. He calls us to walk in both. The Holy Spirit is the power that confirms the Gospel. Zechariah 4:6 says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord.” Everything you build in life—every breakthrough, every miracle, every transformation—is by His Spirit, not by human effort.
