What happens when God’s people choose fear instead of faith? In Genesis 16, Abraham and Sarah attempt to solve God’s promise their own way—leading to conflict, pain, and consequences that ripple through history. This message shows how failing to exercise godly faith can complicate faithfully executing God’s mission. Three key lessons from Genesis 16: 1. Fear Clouds God’s Mission – When we exhibit fear instead of faith, we cloud God’s glory, kingdom, and mission. 2. Fear Emboldens Unbelief – When believers live inconsistently, the world becomes proud and confused about who God is. 3. God Overcomes Our Failures – Even when we complicate the mission, God still moves forward with His redemptive plan.
