What if the lowest moment of your life becomes the place where you encounter God? In Genesis 28 , Jacob is running from his past, alone, afraid, and broken. Yet in the middle of his failure, God meets him—not with condemnation, but with a promise. This powerful moment reveals that God pursues us even when we are far from Him. This message shows how Heaven's dream becomes a broken person's reality —and how God invites us into His mission through grace, not perfection. Four movements in Jacob's journey: 1. The Runaway with Broken Dreams — Life hasn't gone the way he planned, and his sin has left him isolated 2. The Dream of Heaven — God reveals His presence, promise, and purpose even in Jacob's lowest moment 3. Awakening Faith — Jacob recognizes God's presence and responds with reverence and remembrance 4. Activating Faith — Jacob makes a vow, stepping into a life of trust, loyalty, and stewardship Jacob thought he was alone—but God was already there. “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” (Genesis 28:16) The same is true for us. God meets us in our brokenness, lifts us from our lowest place, and calls us into His redemptive mission. Whether you're exploring faith or have followed Jesus for years, this message invites you to see how God is present—even in places you didn't expect. 📖 Scriptures: Genesis 28; John 1:49–51; Psalm 40:1–2; Ephesians 2:4–6 📍 Northland Church, 522 Dog Track Rd., Longwood, FL, 32750 🙌 Like • 🔔 Subscribe • 💬 Where have you experienced God's presence in an unexpected place? 🏷️ Hashtags #NorthlandChurch #BibleTeaching #ChristianSermon #Genesis28 #Jacob #FaithJourney #GodsPresence #TrustGod #SpiritualAwakening #GodPursues
