In part 11 of our series, titled “Honoring Jesus,” Pastor Aaron explores the truth that honor is directly connected to miracles. Honor is not just a social value—it’s a biblical command, a spiritual principle, and a gateway to God’s supernatural power moving in your life. The Bible teaches that honor is due to God, parents, leaders, and one another. Scriptures like 1 Peter 2:17 and Romans 12:10 remind us to treat others honorably and love one another with genuine respect. Honor is not optional—it is a reflection of our faith, our obedience, and our love for God. Jesus Himself was stifled by dishonor in His hometown (Mark 6:3–6), yet responded to faith and honor with miracles elsewhere (Matthew 8:8–10). This message challenges us to ask: Are we honoring Jesus with our lives—or are we honoring things of the world more? Many people are willing to wait in line for celebrities but won’t commit to fasting, prayer, or church. When we decide to honor Jesus fully, He demonstrates His miracle-working power for us and through us. Honoring Jesus means honoring His gifts (Ephesians 4:8, 11–12), His leadership, His church, and His sacrifice. The church belongs to Christ (Ephesians 5:23), and part of honoring Christ is honoring His church—through serving, praying, inviting others, and respecting leadership. When we honor the structure God has put in place, we position ourselves to receive what God wants to release. In Acts 2:42–43, the early church devoted themselves to fellowship, prayer, and honoring one another—and as a result, they saw miracles, signs, and wonders. When honor goes up, miracles go up. You are called to be a vessel of healing, prayer, and breakthrough in your home, church, and community. Most importantly, honoring Jesus is honoring His sacrifice. Jesus took our pain, bore our sins, and died in our place (Isaiah 53:3–5). He invites the weary, the broken, and the burdened to come to Him (Matthew 11:28). Your ashes can become beauty.
