Interrupted, But Not Forgotten | Pastor Ronnie Stewart
What do we do when we are walking with God and still receive news we never wanted to hear? Mark chapter 5 gives us one of the most honest and human stories in all of Scripture, and it meets us exactly where we are. We follow Jairus, a respected synagogue leader, who sets aside every ounce of his dignity and falls at the feet of Jesus, begging him to come heal his dying daughter. Jesus agrees, and hope begins walking beside him on the road home. But then something unexpected happens. Jesus stops.
