The journey to Bethlehem wasn't safe, easy, or predictable—it was courageous. In this Advent message, Pastor Josh shows that Bethlehem is ultimately a Person, not just a place (p.12), and the road that leads there is paved with courage rooted in faith. Through Mary's calling in Luke 1 and the dangers she and Joseph faced (pp. 20–25), we see that courage is choosing to trust God when the outcome is uncertain. 🔥 Key themes from the message: Courage vs. Fear — “The object of your faith must be greater than the object/outcome of your fears” (p.10). God's Invitation — Mary is invited into grace, mission, and the miraculous (p.17), even though it disrupts her plans and reputation. Real Fears — Personal ruin, rejection, uncertainty, even possible stoning (pp. 22–24). Greater Bethlehem — Jesus Himself walked the path of suffering, rejection, and sacrifice to become our Bread of Hope, Redemption, and Acceptance (pp. 34–36). Courage Comes From Christ — “You'll have courage when your faith is in the Greater Bethlehem—Jesus” (p.37). This message invites you to take your own courageous step toward the One who conquered every fear on your behalf. 📖 Scriptures: Luke 1:26–38; Micah 5:2; Isaiah 53 🗓️ Advent Week 2 — Northland Church 🙌 Like • 🔔 Subscribe • 💬 What step of courage is God calling you to take? 🏷️ Hashtags #journeytobethlehem #advent2025 #northlandchurch #courageoverfear #MaryAndJoseph #faithjourney #jesusourhope #christmasseries #donotbeafraid #greaterbethlehem
