We're in Part 3 of the "Hosting His Presence" series. Today, Pastor Ken leads us as we dive deep into Exodus 33:11-15 where Moses boldly declares, “If You don’t go with us, I don’t want to go.” This message is a call to every believer who refuses to settle for distance from God. Pursuit is not passive. It is hunger with movement. It is the posture of a Christian who refuses to sit back spiritually and instead runs after the heart of God. Pursuit means "I'm not satisfied with distance. We can’t let Him be far — I have to get close. It is going after God with all that I am — heart, mind, soul, and strength." Through 2 Samuel 6:1-15, we see how the house of Obed-Edom was blessed because the presence of God was there. There is something powerful about hosting His presence. There is something transformative about your pursuit. In Mark 10:46-52, blind Bartimaeus pursued Jesus with desperation — and when he did, Jesus stopped and took notice. When you pursue Jesus, He responds. When you cry out, He hears you. When you chase after Him, heaven moves. In Luke 10:38-42, we learn that it’s not about doing works for Jesus if we neglect being with Jesus. The presence matters more than performance. Worship is not about spectators — it’s about participants. When Jesus died (Matthew 27:50-52), the veil was torn. Access was granted. The presence is no longer restricted — it is available. The ark of the covenant represented the glory of God. His presence carried light so powerful they didn’t need candles. Today, we carry that access because of the Lamb of God. But what hinders our pursuit? Distraction. The enemy doesn’t have to destroy your faith if he can distract your focus. Overwhelm. Busyness. Noise. Many believers don’t lack love for God — they lack space for God. Emotional margin matters. Stillness matters. The 7th day belongs to the Lord. You must prepare your mind and heart before entering the house of God. There should be excitement in the house of the Lord. What you
