Stress Relief: Jehovah Shalom Brings Me Peace
The Israelite people disobeyed God and were given into the hands of Midian for seven years. They were oppressed people. Then God called Gideon to save Israel. The name Jehovah-shalom is mentioned explicitly in Judges 6:24. Gideon builds an altar to the LORD and names it Jehovah-shalom after receiving assurance of peace from God.
