The Church in a Divided Democracy. In exile, a fiery faith of conviction is needed to face the fiery furnace of cultural conformity. As we progress through transitions, tests, trials, and triumphs, we need to leverage our earthly citizenship to appeal for justice, seek well-being, pursue God’s mission, and exercise our rights as citizens to achieve the good and flourishing of all. Our goal is to think deeply and biblically as we engage with American democracy and, as we do so, leverage our earthly citizenship for heavenly good.
