The Miracle Within is a powerful message on holiness, identity, surrender, and true transformation. Beginning in 2 Corinthians 6:14–18, this sermon teaches that holiness keeps us close to God. We're reminded that before miracles happen around you, a miracle must first happen within you. God is not only interested in changing our circumstances—He wants to change our hearts. What is holiness? Holiness means being set apart, belonging fully to God—not partially. Holiness is not legalism and not behavior modification through rule-keeping. Legalism begins with rules and leads to outward performance. Holiness begins with relationship and leads to heart transformation. It is not earning righteousness—it is reflecting God’s nature through faith, grace, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is living the life God has called you to live, inside first, then outside. Scripture calls believers to live separate from the world (2 Corinthians 6:17). Romans 6:23 reminds us that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Sin is not your friend. Sin destroys intimacy with God, identity, peace, purpose, and joy. Transgression is occasional falling short. Iniquity is choosing sin as a lifestyle. The message calls believers to recognize the seriousness of intentional sin (Hebrews 10:26–27) and to cry out for a miracle within—deep repentance, inner change, and transformation of desires. Titus 2:11–14 teaches that the grace of God does not excuse sin—it teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled and godly lives. Grace is not permission; grace is power. This sermon challenges believers to stop flirting with the world. The world has nothing to offer that compares to Christ. Why do some believers stay drawn to the world? Because their identity has not fully shifted. They know they are forgiven but still think like who they used to be.
