Trust Your Wings - Bishop T.D. Jakes
If a bird is perched on a branch that breaks, it trusts its wings to fly. Sometimes, the things you count on to hold you up — your family, friends, mentors, job — might fail you. That’s when you trust that God will always be there to lift you. He will never fail you, so seek Him first! When David’s own soldiers started to turn on him after their city was destroyed, he had to encourage himself in the Lord. He didn’t avoid the conflict but pursued the enemy because God promised he would recover
