Hebrews 11:1-6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. In Part 1 of our No Sense series, Pastor Ken Claytor reminds us that God does not move according to our needs; He moves according to our faith. When faith rises, obedience rises. When obedience rises, miracles follow. Faith is the currency of the Spirit, and it’s how we access God’s promises. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Faith is a spiritual sixth sense—it reaches into the unseen realm and brings the promises of God into reality. It’s not based on emotions, circumstances, or human logic. In fact, faith doesn’t make sense—it makes faith. We are called to walk by faith and not by sight, living by what God has spoken rather than what we physically see. Faith begins with understanding God’s Word. Romans 10:17 teaches us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God—not by what we heard in the past, but by continually hearing the Holy Spirit speak through Scripture today. You can’t believe for something you don’t know is God’s will. That’s why knowing the Word is essential—whether it’s believing for healing, provision, or breakthrough, you must first know what God has promised. Faith must also have a target. It’s not passive hope—it’s active trust in what God has already declared. Faith is released through the words of our mouth (Romans 10). Life and death are in the power of the tongue, so we must speak in alignment with what God says. Just like a muscle, faith must be exercised daily. Use faith for everyday things—not just big crises—so that trusting God becomes a lifestyle. True Bible faith is:     •    Confidence in God’s Word     •    Acting on what you believe     •    Being convinced of unseen realities     •    Knowing God will do what He said Faith is not foolishness or presumption.
