When life is messy, God still moves (Mary, Joseph, and Jesus)

Christmas is not a clean story. It starts with a scandal. In Matthew 1, Mary is pledged to Joseph, then found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph has every right to protect himself, but instead he chooses mercy, quiet sacrifice, and surrender to God. In this message, we talk about why Jesus came, what sin really means (not only what you have done, but what you have become), and how Jesus still brings freedom, healing, and new life today. We also connect the mission of Jesus to Isaiah 61 and the promise that God can restore what has been devastated for generations.
