Join us this weekend as we continue our sermon series based in the Book of Esther. Today, we hear how God is not surprised by what happens here on earth. We’ll hear about how Esther had to take a risk in the time she was placed, and how we can choose to work in the sphere of influence God has given us. Talk About It! - What are the "Babylons" (the places you don't want to be but you are) in your life right now? How can you uniquely bring peace to different areas of your life? - Have you ever found yourself, like Esther, unaware of an issue that was affecting many people (but not you)? What are some ways we can increase awareness of these issues? - What are some ways that evil has tried to conceal itself from you in the past? — In the face of our uncertainties, God is not surprised. He cares deeply for us and equips us to handle what comes our way. It may not seem that God is leading you in this, to this, but ask him what you can do now that you are here. You don’t carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, but you can work to bring peace in your spaces. God will accomplish his will with or without you. But with God, there are blessings here and nowhere else. He doesn’t promise to lead us where we want to go, but his providence will always take us where we need to be.
