HOW TO BE THE CHURCH // Join us this weekend as we continue Acts Movement I. Today, we hear about the generosity and sacrifice of Jesus. We’ll hear about his life and character being an example for us in our lives. — The early church practiced radical generosity to serve each other and those around them. Yet generosity is not a common, natural trait for most people. Generosity is a sacrificial act. So how do we become generous people? One of the first steps is prayer for boldness because boldness goes beyond our circumstances. It’s not always greediness that prevents generosity—more often than not, it’s fear. But we have to let God’s loves for us and his promises make us bold.
