HOW TO BE THE CHURCH // Join us this weekend as we continue Acts Movement I. Today, we hear about how God is gracious even in accountability. We’ll hear about confession, honesty, tension, sin, and—of course—grace. — Following God is not always the safe or comfortable choice. But the greatest hindrance to the mission of the Church is not persecution but the sin within us—the things that keep us from a full, rich, restorative relationship with God. As we look at the history of the early church, we’re reminded that the biggest problems a church will face are not what the world does to the church but what those who are the Church do or do not do. We’re reminded of the importance of accountability. We’re reminded of the beauty of grace.
