HOW TO BE THE CHURCH // Join us this weekend as we continue How to be the Church. Is there anyone I do life with who is really, truly unlike me? — In the early church, Peter—the rock on whom Jesus chose to build his church—has a shocking experience. God himself, (the God for whom Peter follows all the rules!), commands Peter to break one. He asks Peter to eat ceremonially unclean food with ceremonially unclean people, because Jesus Christ has torn down the cultural traditions that divide clean and unclean forever.
